Vadim Bogush was born in 1975 in Bobruisk, Mogilev region. He graduated from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. Work in the past: post-graduate student of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, assistant professor of the Department of Networks and Telecommunications of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, doctoral student of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, assistant professor of the Department of Information Protection, head of the Department of Metrology and Standardization of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, pro-rector for Academic Affairs, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus. From July 2014 until May 2018 - First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus. In May 2018 he was appointed rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics
